Bina Mossman, b1893 - d1990, was an influential musician, composer and politician in Hawaii during the post monarchal period and onward At the age of 21 she organized a Hawaiian girls glee club which gained the patronage and tutelage of Hawaii's deposed Queen, Lili'uokalani She went on to have a career in politics, but her love of music followed her She composed many songs which are still popular today In 1998 she was inducted into the Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame

Note What's frustrating about chords is that the YouTube site generator uses a fixed pitch font in the editor but renders the page in a variable pitch font Because of this none of the chords line up with their corresponding word unless they are the first word in the line I guess you'll just have to follow along and figure out where the chord is supposed to change
Some of you have asked for the intro and ending chords They are a standard vamp D7 G7 C, but with a slight twist The best I can do is to write the chords down for you in fret notation To read the notation the strings from left to right are G C E A The numbers correspond to the fret that is to be fingered upon You can figure out which fingers to use
