Video de OK kiddies, this is a song ABOUT the band Minor Threat It's NOT a cover of the song Minor Threat by Minor Threat so don't go complaining it should be something which it's not There's a plethora of excelent bootlegs on Youtube of pretty much every Minor Threat song so go listen to those if you want to hear the original Minor Threat, ie Ian Mackaye's band This is a song called Minor Threat by the Fluxus/Nexus side project Radioactive Fish, which though sounding quite unlinke the mighty Minor Threat takes inspiration from Minor Threat's raw energy
The song actually is'nt about Minor Threat so much as about a Dutch teenager who locks himself up in his room and listens to Minor Threat religeously, trying to escape the grim reality of everyone else in his town wearing smilie buttons and listening to techno Needless to say he's perturbed as fuck, and curses himself for having been born too late to be part of anything he could believe in
The lyrics are in dutch, but you should be able to work out the general grist Coincidentally, the video footage IS of the real Minor Threat, namely from an early show in DC This video is around, and has to be seen to be believed At times it resembles something of a religeous painting, with bodies swirling around everywhere, the ecstatic crowd whirling aimlessly under a blinding white light and Ian Mackaye's watchful eye We are more in need of bands like Minor Threat now than ever
