天下經濟論壇亞洲企業領袖齊聚
由天下雜誌主辦的天下經濟論壇18號正式登場，這是台灣首次出現亞洲級的經濟論壇。 來自日本、中國、香港、新加坡、泰國、印度等國的政經領袖齊聚台北，討論亞洲未來經濟成長的新動能。 廣達電腦董事長林百里，大力推銷最近當紅的雲端運算。他也強調，未來世代對品牌的忠誠度降低， 以後將是服務業一枝獨秀。宏碁集團創辦人施振榮也呼應林百里的看法，他說台灣的服務業過去是以內銷為主，未來國際化之後，成長空間將是製造業的百倍以上。 除了林百里和施振榮之外，SONY前董座出井伸之也出席18號下午的專題論壇。出井認為，台灣和日本都是20世紀的成功國家。但是到了21世紀，這兩個國家都必須做出改變。台日合作將是最佳方案。 當全世界都把眼光放在中國的崛起時，台灣要如何利用擅長的水平分工和代工優勢，稱職地扮演其他國家的最佳夥伴，值得國內企業界深思。中央社記者周冠宏台北報導
